Clearpay App Configuration Errors
- Cause: If there’s an issue with your Clearpay merchant account, it could be the reason as to why Clearpay as a payment method is not appearing in checkout. For example, your Clearpay account might not be fully activated or you have selected the incorrect business account.

Solution: Ensure that your Clearpay merchant account is active and that you have selected the correct business account
- Within your Shopify Admin Panel, go to Settings > Payments > Clearpay (If you do not see Clearpay, then select Install .
- You will be prompted to login to the Clearpay Business Hub.
- Once you log in to your Clearpay Business Hub, select the business you would like to have Clearpay enabled.
- The screen will now return to the Shopify payment method set. Ensure Clearpay is toggled to ON and click on Activate.

Inconsistent Currency Display
- Cause: A common cause for Clearpay as a payment method not appearing at checkout is because your Shopify store's base currency may differ from the corresponding Clearpay account region, which can only be set as United Kingdom.
- Solution: Your Shopify store’s address and currency must correspond to the Clearpay account region. Please refer to the Store Address and Store Currency steps to ensure they are configured correctly.
